Overview
The Ajvir Singh Sandhu Leadership Foundation offers grants to individuals who are not only exceptionally talented but also seek to use their skills to give back to their local community. AjvirLF will assess applications from any discipline but will always look for evidence of both talent and leadership in sport.
Example
AjvirLF has supported a young kickboxer who is part of team GB. Max has participated in numerous world class competitions including the Irish Open, and Austrian Classics however he also takes time to teach classes and help other improve in the sport. The Foundation issued a grant to Max to facilitate his travel to UK competitions and we hope that we can support his growth in the future.
AjvirLF has also supported Callum Turner, the team GB representative for table tennis in the World Transplant Games. Callum had his full heart transplant in 2015 and table tennis helped Callum gain fitness. With an evident flair for the sport, he proceeded to win gold at the British Transplant Games and now wants to use competitions as a platform to display what can be achieved with commitment and determination. Callum also continues to compete in memory of his donor and his gratitude carries him through each and every challenge. The Foundation issued Callum with a grant for the purchase of his team GB kit; Callum is the ideal AjvirLF beneficiary with a clear commitment to the sport, his zest for life and determination to give back.
